The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare your favorite comfort food.
Location:
Goldie's hideaway is located at the top of a gravel mountain road about 10 minutes outside of Bryson City. Shopping and the many attractions of cherokee are about a 20 minute drive. White water rafting on the Nantahala river is also 20 minutes away.The Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrances are in Bryson City and Cherokee.
Exterior:
The parking is large enough to easily turn around most any vehicles. A Few steps up from the parking area is the covered porch with a row of Rocking chairs to enjoy the beautiful mountain views that spread out below. At the opposite end of the porch stairs lead to the side yard where you can slip into the seclude outdoor hot tub with mountain views to wind down.
Entry Level:
Entry is from the porch into the dining area. The dining table seats 6 in front of a series of windows filled with beautiful mountain views. To the right of the front door is the breakfast bar with seating for 4 more guest. The fully equipped kitchen has all dining and cooking utensils needed to prepare a family meal including a dishwasher to help with the clean up. Around the corner from the kitchen is the first and only bedroom on the entry level. This bedroom features a queen size bed. A full bath is just across the hall from this bedroom. Across from the dining area is the open living room, where Leather furnishing and mountain views surround the Wood Burning stone fireplace. Stairs to the upper level are in the living room.
Upper Level / Loft:
The stairs end at a open loft entertainment space. An air hockey table and Wii video game will help keep the kids busy. Make sure to bring their favorite games or DVD movies. Two more bedrooms are also on the upper level. The first has a king size bed and the second "kids room" has a twin bed bunk, a full size bed, and another separate twin bed. A full bathroom with tub and shower combination is positioned between these two bedrooms.
Lower Level:

are great rentals to consider for sharing vacations with other family members)
