Location:
About 11 miles from the Bryson City, overlooking Fontana Lake. Only one other cabin is in shares the mountain side with Fontana Lake View cabin. White water rafting on the Nantahala river is about 20 minutes away. The shops and attractions of Cherokee are close to 30 minutes away.The road to the cabin is paved most of the way with last short distance and parking area being gravel.
Exterior:
Fontana Lake View cabin is a single level contemporary log cabin. A few stair up from the gravel parking area is the covered front porch. Here rocking chairs invite you to stop a while and watch the clouds drift across the beautiful Smoky Mountain view. The deck continues around the side of the cabin to reveal a privately positioned hot tub. The mountain views from the here truly add to the hot tubs relaxing powers. The side yard is accessed a path from the parking area following around the back of the cabin. The side yard has a large stone fire pit to roast marshmallows with the kids or just warm the cool mountain night air.
Entry Level:
The front door open into a large open floor plan. To the right of the front door leather sofas sit in front of a wood burning fireplace and large flat screen satellite TV. To the left of the front door is the full kitchen and dinning area. The kitchen is fully stocked all cooking and dinning utensils. The dinning table seats 4 guest and the kitchen bar will seat another 2 guest. The game room's pool table is straight ahead past the living room sofas. The master bedroom is accessed through a door off the living room. The master bath has a private bath with a walk-in shower. Two doors off the game room lead to the other bedrooms. To the right the bed room has 2 twin size bed. The bedroom to the left has a queen size bed. The second bath room has a tub and shower combination.
