NC Rental Cabin Seclusion Scale Definitions

Check In time is after 3:00 P.M. NO EARLY CHECK INs Please! Check Out time is 11:00 A.M. First night’s rental rate is required at the time of reservation. We accept all major credit cards, travelers checks, money orders and cashier's checks. Personal checks are only accepted if received 30 days prior to arrival date. Upon arrival, please report any damages or problems or we will assume they occurred during your stay. Extra Charges may be applied to your account for telephone charges, movie rentals, having pets in units that don't allow, smoking, lost keys, or for having too many guests. We have a two night general minimum stay and a three night minimum stay on holidays and during the months of July and October. If you are planning a late arrival time to your North Carolina vacation cabin rental, please contact our cabin rental office during business hours to make arrangements. At the time of check in you will be required to sign a rental agreement and pay any outstanding balance in full.
Cabin Rental Reservations:	All vacation cabin reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card (Visa, MC, Discover and American Express accepted). No reservations held on declined credit cards. Total rental charges due at check-in. Unless prior arrangements are made, there will be a $10 per person, per night charge for all cabin guests over two unless noted.

Security Deposit Hold:	At check in a security deposit hold ($150.00 on 1 or 2 bedrooms cabins, $250.00 on 3or 4 bedrooms cabins, $400 on 5 bedrooms cabins, Plus an additional $100.00 for each Pet) will be applied to the credit card on file. This hold is not a charge and will not appear on your credit card statement. Returning Guests in good standing with Carolina Mountain Vacations may be exempt from the security deposit hold. Ask our reservation specialists for more details. Please report any damages and repair issues upon arrival at cabin. Unreported damages or missing items will be assumed to have occurred during your stay. As provided in North Carolina statutes charges may/will be applied to actual damages, theft, unpaid charges, agreement violations ( too many guest, unauthorized pets, smoking indoors) or the need for excessive cleaning caused by Tenant, their family or invitees. Charges may exceed security deposit hold amount. This security deposit hold is not to be considered part of rent payment or reservation deposit.

Minimum stay requirements:	All cabins have a 2-3 night minimum stay and some have longer minimums depending on the cabin you choose and the season. The peak months of June, July & October require a 3 night min. stay and some holidays have a 4 night min. stay. Please ask for details when making your reservation

Cabin Rental Cancellations:	A $50 fee to cancel 30 days or more in advance of arrival date. 29 - 14 days in advance will be charged the amount of one night's rental for cabin reserved. 13 days or less in advance will be charged full rental amount unless we are able to re-book the cabin for the same time period. Note: No refunds given for weather conditions. No cancellations accepted via telephone.

Pet Friendly Lodging:	A signed pet agreement and a non-refundable fee of $45 for the first pet and $20 for each additional pet (to a maximum of 3 pets) is required. Please bring your pet’s bedding and/or crates as we do not allow pets on furniture or beds. Dogs must be on leashes at all times when outside of the cabin. Pets are not to be left unattended in the cabin unless crated. Guest are required to provide their own crate. Pet owners will be responsible for any damage. Because, not all of our North Carolina cabin rentals are Pet Friendly and we must do a complete inspection before you arrive at your cabin and a thorough pet treatment after you check out. Please ask before bringing your travel companion along, as failure to do so will result in forfeiture of security deposit. Note: Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds at any time. If pet hair is found on furniture or bedding then the pet fee will be doubled for excessive cleaning to prepare the cabin for the next guest.

Groups	Carolina Mountain Vacation does not rent to fraternities, sororities, or other large non-family groups.

Parties:	NO HOUSE PARTIES are permitted.

Minimum Age	NO RENTALS will be permitted to ANYONE UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE. All cabins/cottages/vacation homes are NON SMOKING: We ask that if you smoke, please smoke out-of-doors and properly dispose of cigarette butts.
