Lake View Log Cabin

Location:
About 5 minutes around the bend from the Almond Boat Dock on Fontana Lake. Lake view is about 20 minutes from the Bryson City entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Tsali recreational area is just about 20 minutes in the opposite direction.

Lake view log cabin shares the same road as Eagles Nest, Eagles View, and Bear's Choice rental cabins. Lake view however, is hidden further down and around the mountain side making it the most private and giving it the best overlook of Fontana Lake in the area. Actually the only way to view Lake View cabin is from a boat on Fontana Lake or from it's gravel driveway. The Great Smoky Mountain Rail Road runs along the shore line of Fontana Lake below this cabin. The unique layout of the mountain side property surrounding this cabin gives it a feeling of mountain isolation; yet civilization and maybe another family member's log Cabin's are just a few acres up around the bend in the gravel road.

Exterior:
This 2 story log cabin has a covered wrap around porch. Rocking chairs on the front porch so you can relax and enjoy the seclusion of the mountains and the View of Fontana Lake. Around to the side covered porch is a great location to enjoy an outdoor meal or a quiet evening's conversation. The side yard has a secluded outdoor hot tub perfect for unwinding after a long day of whitewater rafting the Nantahala river, mountain biking at Tsali or Hiking the trails in the Deep Creek area of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Entry Level:
The front door of this private cabin open to first floor and comfortable warm mountain decor.. The living room, Full kitchen, and half bath make up the first floor. A wood burning Stone fire place creates the focal point of the living room, where a Leather sofa and recliner are comfortable positioned to take advantage of its warm glow. The living room also has a satellite tv.

The dining table with a great view of Fontana Lake is just to the right of the living room and in front of the kitchen. The full kitchen including microwave, coffee maker(bring you favorite coffee), and all cooking utensils.

Upper Level / Loft:
The stairs to the second floor end between two bedrooms each with a private full bath and queen bed. The same warm mountain decor of the first floor continue through each of the second floor bedrooms. Warm wood walls hand carved log queen beds with soft quilts continue the mountain getaway feel of this cabin.
